The Policy Research Group (PRG) programme has been developed by the Financial Services Commission, Mauritius (FSC) to foster research excellence through the publication of policy research studies, in different Phases.
The launching of Phase I of the PRG programme was effected in November 2015, whereby the FSC had invited for research proposals from high calibre policy researchers and academics.
Policy researchers and academics are provided, under the PRG programme, a valuable platform and opportunity to inter-alia analyse the policies and market developmental needs for the non-banking financial services sector in Mauritius.

The broad objectives of the Policy Research Group are to:
The policy research studies which have been successfully completed under Phase I of the PRG programme will be published in the Policy Research Series.
The Policy Research Series is a landmark publication of the Financial Services Commission, Mauritius for the future.
This publication is targeted at a high-level readership audience and supported by an Editorial and Advisory Council of world-class researchers and specialists.

The research proposals and other submissions made by the high calibre policy researchers or academics are screened by the PRG Selection Committee.
The PRG Selection Committee has been effectively established as a dedicated Committee for the PRG programme.
The composition of the PRG Selection Committee includes the following high-profile professionals from the local financial services industry.
